Community Guidelines — Mersaal

Mersaal ek literary community hai jahan Urdu aur Hindustani adab ke shaukeen ek saath aate hain. Yeh Community Guidelines batati hain ki hum sab milkar ek positive, respectful, aur creative space kaise banaye rakhein.

Mersaal use karke aap in guidelines se sehmat hote hain.

  1. Hamara Mission

Mersaal ka maksad hai:

  • Urdu aur Hindustani adab ko naye peedhi tak pahunchana
  • Writers, readers, aur learners ko ek platform dena
  • Copyright ka samman karte hue literature ko preserve karna
  1. Hamare Values

(a) Respect: Har member ka samman karein — chahe woh reader ho, writer ho, ya learner.

(b) Authenticity: Jo content share karein, woh sach ho aur original ho.

(c) Creativity: Naye writers ko protsahit karein, purane writers ko samman dein.

(d) Responsibility: Apne submissions aur comments ke liye zimmedar rahein.

  1. Kya Allowed Hai?

Aap Mersaal par yeh sab kar sakte hain:

  • Apne original sher, ghazal, nazm submit karein
  • Classical poets ki public domain shayari share karein (with proper attribution)
  • Comments mein apni raay dein (respectfully)
  • Writers ko follow karein
  • Dictionary words contribute karein
  • Quiz dein aur seekhein
  • Apni library mein content save karein
  1. Kya Allowed Nahi Hai?

(a) Copyright Violation:

  • Kisi aur ka copyrighted content apne naam se post karna
  • Permission ke bina kisi aur ki shayari publish karna
  • Copyrighted books ka full text upload karna

(b) Harassment:

  • Kisi ko gaali dena, badnaam karna, ya threaten karna
  • Hate speech (kisi bhi religion, caste, gender, ya community ke against)
  • Personal attacks

(c) Spam:

  • Repeated submissions
  • Advertisement ya promotional content bina permission
  • Fake accounts banana
  • Automated submissions (bots)

(d) Illegal Content:

  • Kisi bhi tarah ka illegal content
  • Violence ya terrorism ko promote karna
  • Child abuse ya exploitation se related kuch bhi

(e) Misinformation:

  • Jhooti attribution (kisi aur ki shayari kisi aur ke naam se post karna)
  • Fake information phailana

(f) Privacy Violation:

  • Kisi ki personal information bina permission share karna
  • Kisi ki photos bina permission upload karna
  1. Submitting Content

Jab aap sher submit karte hain:

(a) Aapki submission review ki jaayegi (moderation queue mein).

(b) Quality check hoga — bahut chhoti ya spam submissions reject ho sakti hain.

(c) Duplicate check hoga — pehle se mojood sher dobara accept nahi hoga.

(d) Rights check hoga — agar aapke sher ka rights status clear nahi hai, toh use daily feature mein nahi dikhaya jayega.

(e) Approval ke baad hi publish hoga.

(f) Mersaal ko haq hai kisi bhi submission ko bina reason reject karne ka.

  1. Commenting Rules

Comments mein:

  • Respectful rahein
  • Topic par rahein
  • No personal attacks
  • No spam links
  • No self-promotion bina permission
  1. Reporting Abuse

Agar aapko koi content ya user problematic lage, toh humein report karein:

Report mein yeh batayein:

  • Kya problem hai (spam, abuse, copyright, etc.)
  • Kahan hai (URL)
  • Kab hua
  • Aapka naam (optional)

Hum 48-72 hours mein report review karenge.

  1. Moderation Process

(a) Reports review ki jaayengi.

(b) Agar violation confirmed hoga, toh:

  • First time: Warning
  • Second time: Content removal
  • Third time: Account suspension (temporary)
  • Repeated violations: Account termination

(c) Bade violations (jaise child abuse, terrorism) par turant account termination hoga, bina warning ke.

  1. Appeals

Agar aapko lagta hai ki aapke saath galat hua hai, toh aap appeal kar sakte hain. Hum 7 working days mein appeal review karenge.

  1. Writer’s Rights

Agar aap writer hain aur aapka content Mersaal par publish hua hai:

  • Aapke content ke rights aapke paas rehte hain
  • Aap kabhi bhi removal request kar sakte hain
  • Aapki attribution hamesha dikhayi jayegi
  • Aapko koi royalty nahi milegi (Mersaal free platform hai)
  1. Content Ownership

(a) Aap jo bhi content submit karte hain, uske rights aapke paas rehte hain.

(b) Mersaal ko ek non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license milta hai aapke content ko display, distribute, aur promote karne ke liye.

(c) Aap Mersaal ko content use karne ki permission dete hain website par aur social media par.

  1. Saaf Niyat (Good Faith)

Hum maante hain ki zyadatar log saaf niyat se aate hain. Galatfehmi ho sakti hai. Agar aapko lagta hai ki humne galti ki hai, toh humein batao — hum sudhaar karenge.

  1. Changes to Guidelines

Hum yeh guidelines samay-samay par update kar sakte hain. Koi bada badlav aane par hum website par notice denge.
